UPDATE! Expect additional delays…. my mom has just been admitted into hospice care (a huge relief). Although she’s not in any discomfort or pain, she is refusing to eat and is now under 100 lbs. and sleeps nearly all the time. Hospice ensures her comfort. She’s 95 yrs. old, so I know she’s ready and just wants to go. I say the prayer for a happy death for her.

We\’re ok. dad has cataract surgery on his left eye tomorrow and we are all nervous!

The sun makes us feel awesome! Do you have any flowers coming up yet? Mom’s daffodils are coming up! YAY

Mom planted some bulbs in containers and has them in the hallway, which is unheated. One set of hyacinths already bloomed; the rest are all in variou states of budding out. No daffocils, though!
Our forsythia here usually blooms around late April, as opposed to early Feb in Maryland! Love the yellow.
