Happy April Fools’ Day, dear Scouts! Celebrated for centuries for various reasons, this “holiday” is mischievous and fun! By the 19th century, April Fools’ Day had become a mainstay of American culture. “The first of April is the day we remember what we are the other 364 days of the year,” Mark Twain is credited with saying, according to the Encyclopedia of American Folklore.

Here’s an Oyster Shooter to celebrate the day!

    • Mark Twain had great quotes, that’s a good find with the April Fools’ Day quote.
I think I will come back later to have an oyster shooter though. Thanks, Seymour.
      • Today was Grandma Doris’ birthday. She would have been 96. Happy Heavenly birthday to Grandma Doris.
          • Oh, I am toasting her, my mom and all of our sweet family members who left us too soon. Oyster Shooters for them all!
