    Sadly, I am no longer able to pawticipate in this reading group due to time contraints, but Maggie and Felix were huge fans. Mom would like to know if one of the original group could remind her of the book series that had the California Cats who could talk. She has racked her brain and just can’t think of the series. The dad was a sherrif, their male cat could talk on the phone, and he and his fellow cats always provided the clinching clues to solve the crime.

    Mom’s young colleague at work is having cancer surgery next week, and mom would like to get her the series so she can enjoy while recuperating at home. She and her hub have a fabulous all-black cat named Miss Kitty.
