My mom just finished a 1000 piece puzzle with decent size pieces. She is going to use it for the February craft. If anyone would like puzzle pieces there are plenty to go around. Just let us know and we will send you puzzle pieces.

We are OK, It was 38 when we woke up this morning and even though it was 72 in the house my brother Storm, and my sisters Talley & Charlee were snuggled on top of mom and dad! My sister Aria, ^ Lizzie and my brothers Inky and Bobby were in a pile in the big kitty bed by the hearth, there were still ember in the fireplace from last night\’s fire and sow hen dad put some small logs in the fireplace we had a new cozy fire. I know where I\’m staying today!

1/18 – Cows kill more people than sharks.
Turns out, Jaws really blew things out of proportion for sharks. According to the Center for Disease Control, sharks kill an average of four people per year, while cows kill an average of 22 annually. Though some are due to road accidents, 75 percent were premeditated attacks.

1/18- Wombats are the only animal whose poop is cube shaped. They stack it up to mark their territory. How cool , it is like they make their own legos. 🙂

Hello everyone. I hope everyone survived the snow. Still no additional snow here and that is just fine with us. Couldn\’t and cold here but the days are getting longer, yippee!! Everyone stay safe.

January 18: cows can sleep standing up, but dream only when they are lying down!!

Vertigo is a syndrome in the elderly dog, which can be very frightening to the owners. The dog is suddenly afflicted with a balance problem, usually staggering, but occasionally unable to stand, and more rarely actually rolling over and over. My Poor Dog Tuiren got vertigo last week and it was really scary she couldn\’t stand up, luckily the have medication for it and she is all better now.

Another Spring fave of ours: The Hyacinth. Dutch bulb growers have cultivated Hyacinths since the 17th century. By 1838, these brilliantly colored spring gems had become so popular that more than 2,000 varieties were available!
Hyacinth flowers bloom early in the spring season. The tiny, bell-shaped blooms come in a rainbow of colors, including varying shades of red, blue, and soft pastels. Hyacinths are excellent for cutting and can perform just as well indoors as they do out in the garden. We love their fragrance!
