Just in case anypawdy missed the answers, the mixed dough should be tacky but not sticky. Once mixed, roll out to 1/4″ to 1/2″ thick. Drying time will vary depending on the thickness of your print.

    • Thank you reposting that RaenaBelle. That is useful information.
      • Thanks RaenaBelle
        • How will we know they are ready to turn?
          • Pawdon me, but although I am a tactile kitty, I wouldn’t know the difference between tacky and sticky. I might discover that difference shortly….
              • We saw you’d already made your print, but just in case anypawdy else didn’t know the difference, we thought we’d answer.
Tacky dough: Almost dry, doesn’t stick to surfaces, but doesn’t pill or crack. Is somewhat shiny when rolled or flattened. Easy to work with without greasing or flouring hands and surfaces. Doesn’t stick to fingers.
Sticky dough: Sticky, still moist, almost wet. Sticks to everything including fingers, paws, wax paper, and anything else it touches. Hard to work with without greasing or flouring surfaces.
                  • No, I didn’t do a paw print. I tried something different, and will post it soon. We lucked out with tacky dough! Thanks for explaining the difference to me, Raena!
