CSWHQ Now Has a Home!
CSWHQ is now conveniently a block from the beach in Washington.
As if a widowhood and an interstate move weren’t enough, the denmaster has breast cancer and will have surgery within the next week or two. For every medical test and procedure, she has to drive 2-1/2 hrs to the airport, fly 2 hrs to California and back again, usually the same day. So yeah, the denmaster has kinda fallen off the face of the earth. But once surgery is over and treatment starts she’ll be back at scouts with a vengeance.

We all know Denmaster has to have surgery for her breast cancer and that surgery is now scheduled for November 1 in California and will be on an \”Outpatient\” basis. I'm OK! 13 hours, 33 minutes agoWe are fine! Still in the DC area, doing a bunch of business stuff. Today, mom visited Arlington Cemetery. One pic is below. Here are 2 more. The solemnity and beauty of this place provide a perfect place to contemplate.

I'm OK! 1 day, 6 hours agoMommy saw the doctor yesterday. She has swelling in her legs and what she thought was a rash is bleeding. Blood work needs to be done in order to set a course. She is also going to start taking a water pill so she will pee a lot.

I'm OK! 1 day, 8 hours agoHowdy Scouts…..just saying HI and that we\’re OK. Mom got her booster shot scheduled for this week which I\’m happy about. Today we\’ll have more sun and cool temps but the rest of the week possible showers. Hoping the storms in the West/Midwest might help put out those long-burning fires.
