I don’t reely feel like doing much more typing cuz I’m late fer lunch at the pub, but heer’s whut reesurchers fownd win they did studied the munkeys (I coppeed the next part frum the interwebs)

Social drinkers: the majority of the monkeys. They prefer alcohol diluted in fruit juice, will only drink in the company of other monkeys, and not before lunch.

Regular drinkers: fifteen percent of the monkeys prefer their alcohol “neat” or diluted in water, not sweetened or diluted with fruit juice. Interestingly, steady drinkers do very well in social groups, and are good leaders. They run troops well, they keep order well, and they’re very dominant. This type of alcoholic monkey is a very functional animal.

Binge drinkers: five percent of the monkeys drink their alcohol fast, get in fights, and drink themselves into a coma. Just as in humans, there are more young males in this group. If this group has unrestricted access to alcohol, they will drink themselves to death within 2-3 months. Binge drinkers differ from regular (or “steady”) drinkers by their drinking patterns rather than by the amounts of alcohol they consume.
Teetotaler: fifteen percent of the monkeys prefer little or no alcohol.

Really cold today. Mommy\’s sinuses acting up again. She called in to work and took some meds and she feels better. We got a surprise box today from Blue Buffalo. A month or so ago mommy bought me some of their canned food and I hated it. She e-mailed the company and they said they would send some treats for me. Mommy expected 1 small package of treats, boy was she wrong, 5 full size packages of treats arrived today! Mommy opened one of the packages and gave me some and I love them!

We have a kitty in the Wolverines named Chimera. She is Socks sister. She, however, is not a true Chimera cat. The Chimera cat is one cat that started out as two. Chimera cats have two sets of DNA because a pair of embryos fused together early in the mother\’s womb. So, chimera kittens are born with their own individual DNA, plus the DNA from a second embryo. (Some like to say that a chimera is its own identical twin.) Chimera cats will have a split face…half orange and half black and will often have two different color eyes. There are several popular Chimera cats on Instagram.

Snow pellets are opaque ice particles that form in the atmosphere as ice crystals fall through freezing cloud droplets meaning cloud particles that are colder than the freezing point of water but remain liquid. The cloud droplets group together to form a soft, lumpy mass. Sleet, on the other hand, consists of drops of rain that freeze into small, translucent balls of ice as they fall from the sky.

Good morning!! What a surprise to wake up to! We were told 1-3” of snows. We actually had…none, zip, zero, nada!! Not one flake! Okey dokey with me!! Mom snd Dad are still feeling great! We all just hope they get their test results soon and that they are negative!! The church decided to continue the no live stuff until February. So mam has no choir rehearsal, no bell rehearsal. No live on person services. Mom is sad, but thinks it’s a good thing. Several church members have become infected. Most at asymptomatic, or very nearly that!!

1/20- There\’s a fungus that bleeds.
Hydnellum ferrugineum, or Rusty Bleeding Tooth Fungus, with red liquid droplets, growing among pine branches and needles
Found all across the United States, particularly in the Pacific Northwest, the mushroom Hydnellum peckii has a pretty unmistakable appearance, particularly when it\’s young.

This fungus exudes a thick, dark red sap across a white cap, earning it numerous nicknames, from \”strawberries and cream,\” to \”devil\’s tooth,\” to \”bleeding tooth fungus.\” Fortunately, neither the fungus nor the sap are poisonous, but they\’re both said to be inedibly bitter.

Jan. 19: Jasmine. Jasminum is a genus of shrubs and vines in the olive family (Oleaceae). It contains around 200 species native to tropical and warm temperate regions of Eurasia, Africa, and Oceania. Jasmines are widely cultivated for the fragrance of their flowers. Only one of the 200 species is native to Europe.
Jasmine can be either deciduous (leaves falling in autumn) or evergreen (green all year round), and can be erect, spreading, or climbing shrubs and vines.
Jasmine petals are infused with black, green or white tea to make a healthy drink in China, Japan and Korea. It has several amazing health benefits!

1/19 Raccoons have five toes on their front and back paws. Their forepaws are particularly dexterous and actually look and work like slender human hands. My fact of the day is about the African Serval! Servals have long ears and they can jump very high and they communicate with their pee! Sonewahat like male house cats !

The Iberian ribbed newt uses its own bones as weapons.
The Iberian ribbed newt or Spanish ribbed newt (Pleurodeles waltl) Iberian ribbed newts protect themselves by pushing their own bones through their skin. The newt\’s abdomen contains special tubercles that allow its ribs to poke out through its skin when the newt is frightened. As an added bonus, its skin secretes a toxic chemical, turning this unassuming little creature into a killer of anything that tries to bite it. Basically, this little guy is real-life Wolverine.
