About an hour ago there was a fire in my apartment building. Mommy was asked to evacuate until they got it under control. Luckily it was contained in one apartment and all the fire trucks left about 5 minutes ago. Mommy is back in the apartment. No smoke damage, no water damage, just a little bit of smell but that will go away soon. Mommy was shaking so bad the firemen asked her if she needed to go to the hospital. I went behind the chair and I’ll come out when I’m ready.

What’s Up?
UPDATE! Expect additional delays…. my mom has just been admitted into hospice care (a huge relief). Although she’s not in any discomfort or pain, she is refusing to eat and is now under 100 lbs. and sleeps nearly all the time. Hospice ensures her comfort. She’s 95 yrs. old, so I know she’s ready and just wants to go. I say the prayer for a happy death for her.
