SeaCats 1 month, 2 weeks ago Mom went to Geneva State Park to walk today. The lake has ice along the shoreline and the water in the Marina is frozen. It was the same way around Christmas, but it melted quickly when the weather warmed up. The temperature was 42 degrees today. There were a lot of people at the beach, mom had to wait until people got out of the way to take pictures.

What’s Up?
UPDATE! Expect additional delays…. my mom has just been admitted into hospice care (a huge relief). Although she’s not in any discomfort or pain, she is refusing to eat and is now under 100 lbs. and sleeps nearly all the time. Hospice ensures her comfort. She’s 95 yrs. old, so I know she’s ready and just wants to go. I say the prayer for a happy death for her.
