Wolverine Patrol 1 year, 2 months ago Dear Wolverine patrol friends, our wonderful leader, Gracie, has joined us here at the Bridge. We know she didn’t want to leave you but it was her time. This is what made me cry. Knowing those four are together does not stop this from hurting our hearts very badly. I know Scouts and friends are going to leave us as the years pass, and that it will be my turn one day, but I don’t like it. Sending lots of purrs and big paw hugs to Gracie’s mom and dad. What’s Up?
UPDATE! Expect additional delays…. my mom has just been admitted into hospice care (a huge relief). Although she’s not in any discomfort or pain, she is refusing to eat and is now under 100 lbs. and sleeps nearly all the time. Hospice ensures her comfort. She’s 95 yrs. old, so I know she’s ready and just wants to go. I say the prayer for a happy death for her.
