How funny! Mom happened to buy some greetings cards today that were a folk art picture of the fireworks in Camden Harbor at NYE!
Fireworks always cheer peeps up! (Not sure about all of us kitties, but of course, it was never a problem as far as I was concerned!)

Gosh, why are they so good? We have a regional treat up here called Needhams. Mashed potatoes, cocoa nut layers drizzled with chocolate. Very sweet, chewy and out of this world!

This has been the WEIRDEST Winter EVER! That’s a lot of snow – and this year was our first winter in years when we had NO snow other than a couple of “showers” that melted on impact!

I can’t remember if it was last year or the year before we hardly had any snow but; it was really cold. And before Jan this year we hardly had anything for snow. Even at Christmas.

Holy Cats Jake, this i a feast! We will be in and out as my typist (Dad) has really fuzzy vision from his eye drops preparing for eye surgery!

Pete my Mom has her surgeries on April 19 and 26th…..got her drops today for pre- and post-surgery. So they make your Dad’s eyes fuzzy.

Yes Teddy, Dad has four eye drop prescriptions sand two of them make his vision very blurry and make his eyes itch!

UPDATE! Expect additional delays…. my mom has just been admitted into hospice care (a huge relief). Although she’s not in any discomfort or pain, she is refusing to eat and is now under 100 lbs. and sleeps nearly all the time. Hospice ensures her comfort. She’s 95 yrs. old, so I know she’s ready and just wants to go. I say the prayer for a happy death for her.
