Somebody just let me know the final decision of book and author so I can post on sidebar for us.
-
I am confused!
-
Me too, Andy!
-
-
OK, let’s say the cat who sniffed glue for July!
-
That sounds good.
-
-
July Cat who sniffed Glue
August No. 2 Feline detective agency
September Wrong side of the paw-
Thank you, Pete! You are a good decision maker!
-
Thanks Pete!
-
Thank you Pete. I will get the July Book in the Side Bar tomorrow.
-
-
I am totally confused (which is normal)

I just ordered the first book in the series that Chip suggested, there are 10 in all. I figured we would start at the beginning.

Andy, I saw you had mentioned the bookmobile book, you did not think we had read
Wrong side of the paw?I myself read it, but I had thought we did not read it for Bookclub. But a couple of other scouts thought we did read it for Bookclub.
Does everyone remember reading it for bookclub? I thought we had not, and now Andy he said he doesn’t r…[Read more]
-
I don’t remember it either!
-
f scouts don’t remember reading it, maybe we can have that for the September book. Although I read it, I thought we had not read it for book club. So maybe those who thought we had read it, actually read it privately, but not for book club.
-
So let’s see if scouts think we did not read it for book club, then let’s see if we want to do it for September. What do the rest of you scouts think? The three of us don’t remember doing it for book club.
-
That sounds good to me.
-
-
-
I did not recognize the description so I am going to read it on my own. I might have just forgotten it,
-

lets do it for september!
-
Ok, Pete!
-
-
-
-
Don’t remember it either!
-
We must not have done it then. Let’s consider it for September, pending what other scouts think.

I am going to get the book Chip suggested.
-
So are we going to do No. 2 Feline Detective Agency. Mandy Morton for July and The Cat Who Sniffed Glue for August? It doesn’t matter to me which one we do first but I have to order the No. 2 Feline Detective Agency.
-
MOL I don’t know. I already reserved the Cat Who but can do the other if we decide on that one.
-
Let’s do the Cat Who First since some already reserved it!
-
-
I thought we were going to do it the other way around.
The cat who sniffed glue for July.
But I am happy to do the feline detective agency first, in July. Either way, I like both books.

The finding of the class ring reminded mom of something that happened to someone she knew. The girl had lost her class ring several years before. Then her high school called her up and told her that a landscaper had found her ring. He had called the high school with her initials and the year she graduated, and the high school figured out who she…[Read more]

Aetheling had suggested the Cat Who Sniffed Glue at our last meeting as the July book. Any other suggestions?
-
That sounds good to me. Chip suggested a book, but I cant find it now.
-
Chip suggested the No. 2 Feline Detective Agency. Mandy Morton.
I have read the first couple of chapters and it is pretty good.-
Maybe for August?
-
I think that sounds good for August.
-
-
Can everyone get this book? I can order it through the library.
-
I can get either one. I already reserved the Cat Who one but can do the other.
-
-
-
Sounds good to me!

I had not pictured Detective Hal Inwood as being old enough to have been married for 43 years. His age may have been mentioned before, but I guess I didn’t notice it. I was picturing him as a younger guy.

I really like the book. But I’d be happier without all the details of the engagement plans, like the ring and the house, etc. It seemed like they spent more time talking about those details instead of getting right down to the murder.
It also seems like there was a lot more description at the beginning of the book than in the previous ones. G…[Read more]-
There was a lot of information that did not have to do with the murder.
-
I believe the author does that so each book can stand on its own if the reader hasn’t read any of the other ones that came before.
-
That makes sense
-
I found it helpful since this is only my second in the series.
-
I would just have preferred if she had Woven the character descriptions throughout the story, instead of spending so much time at the beginning before getting to the murder

I thought the ending where everybody helped move Minnie and Eddie into the house Rafe built was satisfying. Eddie already made himself at home on one of the beds.

while I’m thinking of it what is the next book?
-
I think it is The Cat Who Sniffed Glue
-
Oh Good I love the cat who books. We read that a long time ago and would like to read it again!
-
-
I don’t think we decided. Are we going to read another Cat Who book? Also, Chip suggested a book.
-
Have we selected one?
-
I Think we just did, The cat who sniffed Glue!
-
I just reserved it!
-
-
-
The cat who sniffed glue for next month, then?
Chip recommended the number 2 feline detective agency by Mandy Morton.
I have only read the first couple of chapters so far, but it looks pretty good.-
We just ordered the NO 2 Feline Detective Agency Lets make that August!
-
Ok!
-
I think it was inspired by this book the no 1 ladies detective agency!
This first novel in Alexander McCall Smith’s widely acclaimed The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency…-
That book sounds good for personal human reading. I will look it up, Pete. Thanks for telling us about it.

Rafe found Minnie’s class ring that she lost a long time ago and had it made into her engagement ring. He is so thoughtful about things like that.

Sometimes I get sad when I think of Book Club because Angel Timmy was a big part of it.
-
I get sad just coming to Cat Scouts.
-
When we were checking our spam comments on the blog, there were some from him and Mom got all leaky eyed.
-
Timmy and Einstein participated in everything. It is a big loss. We get leaky eyed sometimes too.
-
-
Yes, he was, I really miss him.
-
😢 I know. I feel the same way.
