Sorry I missed the meeting. My mom is very confused by what day it is. Looks as if I’m not the only one who missed tonight! I will put the March book on the calendar.
-
I came by late. Mom is having a hard time knowing what day it is too.
-
Isn’t it the second Wednesday of the month?

Should we decide on a book for March?
The next book in this series? There is also a new book in the bookmobile Series. Our library system has some copies, I don’t know if everyone’s library would have it already.
-
I think the next book in this series would be good. I did not know that there was a new bookmobile book out. Maybe we should wait a few months to make sure everyone can get it. The bookmobile books are my favorites, I am glad that the author is still writing them,
-
Yes, I hope she has a lot of books in the future.

Bunty, not related to cat books for book club, but I did want to thank you for mentioning back in November the Bookbinder series. Mama knew it was going to be a stressful month with maybe having to put Rosco down, so she ordered two of those interesting but lightly amusing books to read during that time to relax her. She had forgotten about that series.

I didn’t understand why Qwill and Nick didn’t call the police right away when they found the names written in lipstick. Because Qwill thought he could gently lead Joanna into confessing better than the police could?

Were you surprised to find out about Emma’s granddaughter? I did not see that coming.

Emma‘s story about getting scared by the girl in the covered bridge, who she thought was a ghost because she couldn’t see her clearly in her dark clothes. It started out like it was going to be a scary story, and instead it was a funny one.
What a good idea of Qwill to start a newspaper series of her stories. And maybe make them into in a book to…[Read more] -

Bunty, 12 more books. I am surprised She waited so long to write Qwill back into the cabin. It seem like she set up interesting characters that she would want to continue with. but of course he’s not that far away from his other house, so maybe the characters that live around his cabin are in the other books? Glinkos, Russell, etc

Qwill seemed pretty calm about finding a body in his crawlspace. And no light. And having to backwards crawl to get out of there.
Yikes MOL -

Qwill and the cats do go back up to the cabin in the Cat Who Saw Stars. 12 books later in the series.
-
We have a ways to go before we get there. I’m glad there are so many books in the series. Too bad the books begin to decrease in quality. But that is understandable in a 90-year-old who wrote so many of them
-
I did not mean this book. I mean in the later books she wrote.
-
-
I am glad to hear that. The author developed a new group of characters. It would have been a shame if Qwill never went back there again.
-
Andy, I did not see your comment. I said the same thing up above I wanted to see more of those characters.

It seemed like all of the reliable contractors worked for the Glinko’s. The other ones like Iggy were unreliable.

Isn’t this just like any cat? Whenever they are sitting so cute and you try to take a picture they skedaadle
-
Of course, MOL. I have ruined many pictures that mom tried to take. It’s good that people have cell phone camera’s. They can keep taking pictures until they get a good one.

I think the Flash in lower light bothers cat eyeballs!!
