Rumbling Thunder Patrol 10 hours, 3 minutes ago It is poring down here, with lots of lightning and wind. Dad just went down to his workshop where Beauty and Harry were waiting for their dinner. Dad is soaked and they are nice and dry. Dad thinks they appreciated his coming down to then because Harry (who is quite skittish) gave him a head bump and tolerated a few pets, and Beauty gave him lots of Whisker kisses. They loved their the boiled shrimp that dad added to their Fancy Feast Savory Centers Tuna, Mom laughed when dad came back upstairs soaked to the skin. She said, \”Let me guess, the cats are dry?\” dad just nodded ad went to dry off and change clothes

Your dad is a true champ, Pete! How sweet that Harry gave him some love this evening.

Dad reall wished that Harry would come inside, If he would, Beauty would too. She won’t leave him. During hurricane Matthew, he got both of them inside and Harry paced at the door for the three days of the storm. Beauty got along with all of us and even slept in the bed with me for two nights!

It’s raining outside and I can see the rain and hear it, but can you feel the vibrations or smell the rain. I know that your other senses are much sharper than ours and I’m curious about your perception of the world
-
I feel changes in wind, the movement of the sun and when it’s cloudy or rainy. Of course, I do not go out now, but I send sense movement against the glass doors or changes in warmth or temperature as the sun moves during the day. I can also sometimes sense when critters are out in the yard. Mom can’t figure it out, but she has seen me twitch or face them as they scurry around the yard. I think their scent can penetrate glass!

We finished it too, and found it interesting, Dad usually passes our books on to our thirteen year old grand daughter, but isn’t sure about this one. The theme may be a little too adult, what do you think?

I hope you don’t see a big spike in Covid cases. Dad says we opened too soon, and both Thursday and Friday saw over 7000 new cases on both days in Florida..

I’m sure the same will happen here. Mom’s not planning to go out for quite a while. Just carryout or visit/host friends who’ve been fully vaccinated.

Mom and dad are fully vaccinated and today they went out to see our grandson play soccer. They wore masks , gloves and took chairs so they didn’t have to sit in the stands.

I'm OK! 16 hours, 54 minutes ago Hi Scouts. I ate my meals last night but am a bit slow on the draw this morning. I did come our later to eat but the big bowl was empty so Dad gave me my dish. It had the CN on it which I seem to like better than FF. An ongoing saga it seems. Rumpy got an extra Steroid yesterday so we are waiting to see how he does overall. Purrs
