We are okay, Mom and dad had an adventure this morning they went to watch our grandson, Evans Soccer game. the masked up, gloved up and took folding chairs so they were able to sit well distant from others. They had a good time, but dad still doesn’t understand why people won’t keep their distance! Grrrrr.

Good morning. Neighbor told us we had human intruders in our yard last night. His house has been getting egged and mom’s car has been scratched up all over. And he has been having peeing cats on his deck. Mom is wondering if this is why there is problems in our house. We’re good. Another rainy weekend. 50’s.

All is well with my parents and ME. We had a rainy and chilly day yesterday so I was mostly inside with them, enjoying what probably will be our last fireplace fire for the season and relaxing together. We have rain today and tomorrow but our high will be in the 70s today at least!

It’s CATURDAY! We’ll rest from exercising again today – just take a nice walk around the lake – that’s “easy” exercising……….

Willow is with me! She says, “Hello my dear, SunnyTea!” Mom went to Church on Easter! Then after Church all three People went on a Walkabout still on Easter then watched Movies then ate Easter Dinner! Willow and MEEE, Mango, we could not even get here to Cat Scouts! But,,Sunny Tea, Willow says to try to come to Tuesday Night Hello Kitty Lovers Dinners! They start at 7pm Eastern Time and 6pm Central Times! You still lives in Missouri! In a prettier more remote place stills? And Willow is saying, “I still loves you! MySunny Tea!”

Did we find out who won the Easter Egg Hunt?

I am OK. Mom got her second Covid shot today. She is feeling fine and she is very happy that she has been vaccinated.

They swept the streets today outside our house. It\’s hailing and very cold but the streets bring swept means the city doesn\’t figure they\’ll be much snow anymore this season. Ya hoo!!

We\’re okay. Routine maintenance for Maya at Dr. Vet\’s office. Nothing else going on which is awesome. Mum said something about a libation on the deck since it\’s a beautiful evening. I like it.

I finally wrote my Packrat report!

I live with two packrats, my mom and dad, so you’d think I would have already known everything about them. Unfortunately, I didn’t. I do know however, that my humans don’t pee on their stuff; though, Astrid would if they asked her. (Astrid is one of my sisfurs and has been known to pee in inappropriate places. But I digress.

Packrats are the consummate hoarders. The people they show on TV trapped in homes full of trash have nothing on the packrat. The most unusual thing(s) I found that packrats have used in their nests came from this pile collected by Ryn Gargulinski (a poet, artist and performer). The first photo shows junk she was saving to use in future art projects. Some of the random items in the pile were metal table legs, air vents, various ducts, tubes, fence posts, accessories, aluminum sheeting and chunks of random steel debris. The second photo shows what was left after Mr. Packrat got his paws on it. Other items found in this packrat’s nest included: carpet fibers, half a throw rug chewed into fluff, rocks, insects, feathers, mesquite pods, chewed up lawn chairs and a load of plastic plant leaves.

Gargulinski found the bottom layer of the nest the most surprising. That’s where she found dog bones, dog chew hooves and random pieces of dog poop and her metal wind chimes! In my opinion, those wind chimes are the most unusual things found in a packrat’s nest. The final picture is the nest.

We are Okey dokey!! All of us!! Mom\’s toof hardly hurts at all, but she will keep taking the antibiotics as prescribed!!
Mom wants to tell you something. I’m not sure what. Good grief!! Hi, Chip\’s mom here. I slept in a bit this morning again. CHip came in and climbed up on my chest…most unusual for the morning time. He didn’t stay, but kept climbing on and off until I turned over on my left side, near the edge of the bed. It was then I saw my phone, in the floor beside the bed, where it sometimes spends the night. Sound was off but it was flashing!! I picked it up, answered. It was my dermatologist confirming my appointment Tuesday. Chip knew I needed to answer it! He’s never done that before! After I hung up, Chip bounced off on his way to do his catly stuff!! What a great Chip!!! My hero!!! I wanted to share this with you. Chip is a very good Scout!! As are you all!!!!what would we all do with out you?!?!

Hey Scouts. Last night I continued grazing and left a bit on my plate. Then, late, I scarfed it all down and had treats. This morning Dad thought I was slow but that is my way. I no longer take two licks and walk away but stay at it. I got Mariners again so that was nice. Aqualung, Rumpy\’s new name, has been a bit rough so got an extra steroid today. Dad wants him to use the inhaler but he fights like a Banshee. He is going to get a special \”treatment Bag\” made. We have one but he is too big to fit inside it. That guy. Stay safe and have fun

Yesterday was a rainy day and mommy got a bit wet on the way home. She went to bed early and was able to sleep in today as they only have a half day today. It\’s supposed to be around 80 degrees today and then cool down a bit for the weekend and possibly more rain.

Friday Feast Breakfast is served. Cranberry Orange Pancakes, Corn Muffins with Canadian Bacon and Egg, Ham and Egg Muffins with a favorite Malted Hot Chocolate.

Good morning. Rain and 50\’s today. The normal weather is coming where it\’s cooler. Mom thought she got Mitzi\’s pill in and was all happy. Went past where she was sitting and there was the pill. MOL. Have a great day.

Raining this morning so we get a break from outside exercising…….grab a hot chocolate and snack and get out of the rain!

Rainy Friday – and it’s cool so I’m having my hot chocolate and breakfast by the fireplace. What a switch from yesterday!

Good Morning……….rain rain rain here and a lot cooler than it\’s been. We can use the rain – it will help Spring continue springing. Weather guy says it may taper off late morning. I\’m all for tapering!

Good day here. Nothing special. Life is good!

Hello my friends. Thank you for the prayers and purrs. I still need them. Tuesday I was doing better and yesterday I was a really good day I starting eating, grooming and using my scratching post. Today I haven\’t eaten anything on my own and I\’ve laid in the same place all day. The vet is putting me on a couple more med and vitamin B twice a week. Mom is hoping this is just a bump in the road and that tomorrow will be a better day. Keep me in your prayers!

Today is sunny and 0C. We\’re heading out with our tanning lotion. Mom\’s coming too. Best looking day so far this spring. Mom saw daffodils coming up downtown yesterday. They are still very pale green though.

We\’re okay, It;s a pretty day, and going to be in the high 80\’s. I have a place staked out under the AC vent in the living room!

PS Heard from Cat\’s Mom: She is doing a bit better. Tube may come out soon

Its getting Springy so lets have a nice Salad today. First we have Maceral and Asparagus, Peach Shrimp Salad or Chicken Avocado Salad. Dressing is on the serving table and we have sweet tea

Hey Scouts. I ate like a champ yesterday eating a whole can of Fancy Feast and today started out well. Of course I did not want FF today and insisted on eating the family meal of Mariners Catch. I am a cat after all and I have my druthers. Not a lot but ate. I then had a second go round and Dad had my plate ready with my Mariners. I ate almost the whole thing and Dad smiled when after he took the plate away I snagged the clumps I had pushed out of my dish. Yep Clean Up duty made him happy. The Family is good and the sun is out. Purrs for Cat and Stay Safe.

Oh, before I head home…any updates on Cat or Timmy???

Good, later morning!! Up I was up a bit ago, but crawled back in bed. Dad was up earlier this am!! Now that’s really unusual!! But Mom just crawled out of bed. She was pretty tired after her mini trip yesterday. It was a total of a five+hours of driving time. And the trip home to Louisville was stressful…so much heavy traffic from Lexington to Louisville. More than an hour, with the heavy traffic!
Her toof is much, much better!! Paws crossed. I’d better go make sure she eats some breakfast!! We are great here! Dad gets his second jab Monday!!

Rain and 60. Jake was naughty around midnight. Wouldn\’t leave Garfield alone so mom had to get out the carrier. Seems to calm him down. She got Feliway and thought it was working till this morning. Jake would not eat this morning. Tried 3 kinds. Hoping he does not have something. Hoping for a great day for everyone.

Another glorious morning…………! Skillet eggs, Mexican hash, Mediterranean omelette and MOUSIE sausage!

Going to be another pretty day although 10-15 degrees cooler than the 83 degrees we had yesterday. Spring is springing up everywhere here and it\’s nice – I\’m enjoying laying in the grass in the shade while Mom and Dad rock in their rockers. Mom did some planting in pots on the back deck and front porch – SPRING!
