My scout pals thanks for a great night of friendship and, as always, Pete for a wonderful and exciting meal. I am still a bit tired so am heading to the bunks to read The Four Paws of Spiritual Success. We started it the other day and it really fits with all the challenges we all have been facing. Sorry I’ve been in and out. Pete, thank you for another Michelin meal. I would like to join you later for some coffee and Arak – similar to Raki or Ouzo. Anise is the base.

Kizmet and Mom have been watching a bunny Wabbit in the side yard. It is good sized and the first we have seen this spring.

Well gang, we didn’t have a big crowd here tonight (at least YET!) but we had a great time being together. I think we’re all feeling sad about out friend Scout Charles…..remember him in your prayers tonight. I’m heading for the bunk with my “pet basbousa” to keep me company. Nite!

There was a large wedding at the church right behind our house this afternoon. Mom was out in the parking lot walking our guest dog and she said not one person in the party had a mask on. And they were standing cheek by jowl!

Oh man these are delish…….Very tasty!

Well I believe I\’m going to try that dessert – those basbousas have been staring at me all night (or have I been staring at them???)…………..whatever – I\’ve gotta try one (or two)

Oh some good news. Our Dad got his first shot today. He got the Pfizer. Sorry I hiss a little when I say that. Nurse dad says it is 95% effective within 2 weeks even before the second dose. He say he feels fine so far

We are so lucky to have such yummy meals for dinner on Saturday nights and such fabulous breakfasts every morning

Me and Einie are going to have Seymours mechouia salad with some rolled grape leaves and Teddys Conjuro Beer.

Well now that we\’ve talked about what our parents have eaten – I\’m starving! That steak shawarma has my name all over it. HAHAHAHA

My mom and dad are having homemade chicken tacos with homemade guacamole and sour cream.

Mom ordered out for dinner!! She got Kushari!!! She loves it!! Hardly ever has it, the food there is bit too exotic for Dad! She sent me a picture of her plate!! Before. It’s empty now!!

Back in a few. Mom\’s got to give me some meds and dinner.

We are purring for Charles and his family hard. We also send purrs to Gracie and her Mom for that hip surgery. I am still eating. Dad wants me to eat more but I ate a half can of FF so far this morning. I keep going to the family dishes but if Dad puts out FF the vultures eat it all in a flash. Please pray for Charles and his family. Mom just shared he has stage 4 lung cancer and it has spread. He is not doing well.

We are very sad. Charles mom just shared on FB he has stage 4 lung cancer and the cancer has moved to other organs.

Mommy did her grocery shopping early since she is going to see the doctor today. It\’s chilly and possible rain. She sent cat scout e-mail to Timmy with books that we know have been read in book club. After sleeping most of yesterday she feels better. Thanks for the purrs.

Dad\’s still asleep. Mom and I are up!! Other than Mom\’s wonky nose, from her tree allergies, we are all very well! I’m keeping an eye on her, to keep her well. It’s going to a cool, grey day. Maybe I can keep her at her easel! And she wants to watch Prince Philip\’s funeral. (She\’s a bit of an Anglophile, but her roots are there.)

Mom filled all the bowls with diet food. She noticed even Hope is getting big. She toke away the bowls in human brother’s room. He usually gives us some if we’re hungry.
